This week marks the opening of "The Greatest Grid: The Master Plan of Manhattan, 1811-2011" at the Museum of the City of New York
This show features two works from the Avery Classics collection: Simeon DeWitt’s Elements of Perspective (1813) and Le Corbusier’s Quand les cathédrales étaient blanches: voyage au pays des timides (1937).
Located on Fifth Avenue at 103rd Street, the Museum is open 10:00am to 6:00pm, seven days a week.
