Spring 2010 Bloomberg introduction sessions

This session will teach the basic navigation and searching skills necessary to begin using Bloomberg.

Spaces still available for the remaining sessions!


March 19, 11am ~ 12pm
April 2, 11am ~ 12pm
April 16, 11am ~ 12pm

All sessions will take place in the 1st Mezzanine reading room on the west side of Watson Library.

Reservations are required. Please email business@libraries.cul.columbia.edu to reserve your spot.

What is the date of the last Bloomberg training session for the Spring semester?

The last question will appear tomorrow on the Journalism Library Blog!

The first five people who answer the question correctly will win a 1GB USB key which can be picked up at the Watson Library.  Winners will be notified via email the next day.

The Journalism Library and the Watson Library of Business and Economics invite you to join in a virtual scavenger hunt on their blogs!

  • Beginning March 1st, one question will be posted on alternative days to one of the blogs – a question whose answer can be found on the blog – along with a link to submit your answer.
  • The first 5 people who submit the correct answer to the daily question will win a 1GB USB key!
  • The scavenger hunt will continue for 2 weeks, Monday-Friday. There will be ten opportunities to win a USB key!
  • Winners will be notified by email. The USB keys can be collected at Watson Library any time the library is open. Columbia ID is required.

Let the games begin!


Repeat winners are not allowed.
Columbia Libraries staff are not eligible for the contest.
