New Equipment and Software Available in Butler

computerNeed to work on a Mac? Use Microsoft Word or Excel? Finish a graphic design project?

There are new computers and software options available throughout Butler Library! In 300 Butler, in front of the circulation desk, 16 computer kiosks have been replaced with new computers that now include Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite – that includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and more! Log in with uni/password is required to use these machines.
 

Upgrades to hardware and software have also been made in the Digital Humanities Center (located in 305 Butler). This facility now hosts GIS, statistical and upgraded imaging software for scanning in various formats, as well as additional Mac computers for digital video editing.  
 
Self-serve, touch-screen scanners are now available in Butler 304 that give you the option of saving your scan to a flash drive, emailing it, or sending it to a networked printer in Butler.
