With all of the strategic planning and the changes in processing and acquisitions models that we have been discussing, I have decided that it would be best to step back to get a broader perspective on our needs in acquisitions and technical services.

It would be best to have many of the issues under discussion settled before we attempt to fill this position. Many of the changes we are undertaking will have a profound effect on this position.

Thus, I am closing the search for the Head of Monographs Acquisitions Services with many thanks to the Search Committee for the work they have contributed to this effort.
