The deadline for submitting cancellations for the 2008 subscription year is August 31, 2007.

Please submit your cancellation requests on the spreadsheet available in the Shared Directory under TSAD 0708.

The spreadsheet asks for a number of data elements. The more that you fill in, the faster and better the process. We need the information to process the cancellation.

There are two new questions on the spreadsheet is regarding the disposition of the current issues. The first asks if we are going to stop check-in, claiming and binding for the current issues of the canceled title. The second asks if we should be discarding the current issues. Granted these are local decisions, however, if the answer is yes, we can close out the records at the time we cancel the orders. This will eliminate the need to notify SAS when the last paper issues have been bound. This is most useful for titles moving to e-only.
