Yomidasu Rekishikan (The Yomiuri Shinbun historical)

Founded in 1874, the Yomiuri Shimbun is one of the five most important national newspapers in Japan. The Yomiuri Shimbun is a Japanese newspaper of the highest quality with a daily circulation of  more than 14 million  (morning and evening editions combined), which is the largest newspaper circulation in Japan, if not in the world. This database covers entire the Yomiuri issues from its first issue to present. Although the search interface is in Japanese, there is an English version of the newspaper, the Daily Yomiuri is also included in this database.
