The Copyright Advisory Office received a grant from the Samuel H. Kress Foundation to undertake a study analyzing license agreements from a sample of museums. The purpose of this project is to compare copyright law as it applies to providing photographic reproductions or other images of art objects in museum collections for use in research, teaching, and publication.
