Proquest has announced scheduled maintenance on its databases, starting at 10pm on Thursday, 5/5, and lasting approximately 2 hours.
The principal music-related databases affected are the International Index to Music Periodicals (IIMP) and Proquest Digital Dissertations.
As an alternative, you can try Music Index Online and RILM. If you are looking for known music journal titles, you can also try searching the journal title in CLIO, for alternate electronic access through other vendors.
This will also impact “ProQuest platform products (including the new platform), ProQuest Historical Newspapers, American Periodicals Series, Genealogy and local history products including African American Heritage, Ancestry Library Edition, HeritageQuest Online, Historic Map Works Library Edition, ProQuest Obituaries and Digital Sanborn Maps, UMI products including ProQuest Digital Microfilm and online dissertation products.”
Hopefully, Proquest will complete work as scheduled, and the disruption will not be too great. Thanks for your patience, and, please contact us at musiclibrary@columbia.edu with any questions.
