  1. I am a Columbia University alumni and would like to bring my 12 year old daughter to see and read in the Music and Arts library. I still have my old Columbia U ID. What do I need to be able to use the library? I do not plan to borrow anything. Thanks!

  2. Hi Frances,
You have reading privileges in the Columbia Libraries with your up-to-date Alumni Reading Card, and, you’re welcome to bring your daughter along to the Music & Arts Library (I’m not sure about access to other libraries). If you need to update or obtain an Alumni Reading Card, just go to the Libraries Information Office, in 201 Butler Library (in the main entrance to Butler Library, on the left). If you have further questions on access, please email me directly at patterson@columbia.edu.

    Best, /Nick Patterson
