You Spoke, We Listened: Scanners

In recent years, student feedback has asked the Libraries to expand scanning facilities. We’re pleased to announce that several new scanners have been added throughout the libraries on campus.

Periodical and Microform Reading Room – 401 Butler Library
   – 4  flatbed scanners with document feeder
   – 1 microfilm scanner (for a total of 6 microfilm scanners)

Digital Humanities Center – 305 Butler Library
– 1 overhead book scanner
– 1 microfilm scanner
– 4 flatbed scanners with document feeder
– 2 over-sized text scanners with document feeder
– 2 over-sized photo scanners
– 2 regular-sized photo scanners

Avery Library
   – 7 over-sized photo scanners

Engineering Library
   – 1 touch-screen flatbed scanner
   – 1 flatbed scanner with document feeder

The Burke Library at UTS
   – 1 touch-screen flatbed scanner station
   – 1 flatbed scanner with document feeder

Coming in January 2011: Digital Science Center in the Integrated Science Library
