Columbia’s Rare Book & Manuscript Library is rolling out a web-based circulation system to streamline how our users request material at the RBML.
Researchers will have a new, web-based Special Collections Research Account to create requests for immediate or future use, with the added benefit of having access to their complete history of requests from anywhere they can access the internet – home computer, mobile phone and tablet devices included.
Here’s a look at some of the other institutions that are using the same technology that we are adopting, along with links to see how their researchers gain access to their collections electronically.
