The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has awarded a one-year grant of $156,000 to Columbia University Libraries, in partnership with the University of Maryland Libraries, to support planning for the systematic, holistic collection and preservation of web content.
Columbia and Maryland will each focus on a different subject area to explore variations in the amount, depth, and nature of digital content available, with the goal to determine means to extend these discoveries across disciplines and to the larger research library community.
