The Getty Foundation has granted RBML $145,000 to process the papers of art historian and critic Meyer Schapiro (1904-1996). The collection comprises 187 linear feet of material, including Schapiro’s research files, audio tapes, correspondence, and gallery invitiations. Work is set to begin in January 2009.
