Graduate Student Archives Internships – Apply Today!

Seeking applications! The Columbia University Libraries’ Graduate Student Internship Program is designed to enrich graduate studies and professional training in primary sources through an introduction to archival work, supplemented with a program of lectures, workshops and tours. Once trained, interns arrange, describe and catalogue collections, and create finding aids for publication online. Learn more about how to apply.

Twelve internships are available from June 14, 2010, through early May, 2011, for a total of 375 hours. The bulk of the work will be concentrated during the summer; the rate of pay is $20/hour. Graduate or professional students, currently matriculated at Columbia University, are eligible to apply.
