This Week at the Libraries

Check out the many events and exhibitions currently going on at the Libraries.

Tuesday, November 1, 6pm – Join soprano Lisa Radakovich Holsberg, with her harp, for Sacred Songs for Sacred Texts, at Burke Library for a celebration of the riches of Burke’s collection in poetry and song. Lisa will share music inspired by biblical and mystical poetry from both the Eastern and Western Christian hymn and chant traditions, including her musical settings of the Byzantine poetry of St. Symeon the New Theologian.

Thursday, November 3, 6pm – "A Conversation Between Lisa Jones and Kellie Jones," will commemorate Kellie Jones’ new book EyeMinded: Living and Writing Contemporary Art. The event, co-sponsored by the Institute for Research in African-American Studies will be moderated by Greg Tate and held at the Columbia University Faculty House.
