On Wednesday, January 20, 2016 our library will present a literary discussion between the author Li Ang, and the translators of her novel The Lost Garden, Sylvia Lin and Howard Goldblatt.

Other speakers will include Susan Yu, Director of the Taiwan Cultural Center (TECO) and Jennifer Crewe, Director of Columbia University Press.

The discussion will take place in the main reading room from 4:00-5:20 PM, and will be followed by a reception including book-signing and sale.

To accommodate this event, the reading room will be closed between 3:00-7:00 PM.  Other parts of the library, including the stacks and front desk will remain accessible.
