No less than twelve digital remarks and presentations of last year’s symposium “The Makino Collection at Columbia: the Present and Future of an Archive” have just been made available for online viewing on Columbia’s YouTube channel. They are linked from the symposium’s webpage, and will also be added to an upcoming special section on our Rare Books, Special Collections, and Archives page.
These digital presentations are the first in a series that will form a digital library of research on and online access to the unique archival materials at the Starr Library. More presentations on a number of different subjects have been recorded and will be added in the foreseeable future. We hope and trust that this digital library will proof to be of interest and use to a global community of scholars. So stay tuned!
I enjoyed the video with Hikari Hori it’s worth watching if you get a chance. Entertaining and informative. I look forward to watching some more.
